Located in eastern PA in beautiful Bucks County, The Pennsylvania School of the Performing Arts is among the area's most prominent and influential training centers for the performing arts.  Commissioned in 2002 as the official training branch of Spirit in Motion Ballet Theater (SIMBT), PSPA is committed to providing the community with access to the finest performing arts training available.

Studies indicate that the proper training in dance and music often provide a key element in helping children and young adults discover well-balanced physical and emotional development in all areas of their life.  PSPA incorporates the high standards of New York Professional dance studios into a non-competitive enviornment that nurtures and encourages students to express themselves through the beautiful images of theater, ballet, jazz. modern and lyrical dance.

Our teaching staff is comprised of arts professionals including master ballet instructors from Moscow's Bolshoi Ballet Company, Pennsylvania Ballet's Rock School, Princeton Ballet, The Alvin Ailey Dance Company of NYC, Bill Hotaling from Manhattan Dance Project.

Through the years, many SIMBT students have been cast to parts in Broadway shows and accepted into some of the most prestigious performing arts schools in the world including Jiulliard, New York American Ballet Theater, The Boston Ballet, The Kirov, The Rock School, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, Fordham, North Carolina School of the Arts, Indiana University, AMDA and NYU.

PSPA is praised for their professional children's creative program for boys and girls ages 3 through 6.  A small class, family enviornment that opens the world of dance to children of all ages in a fun, caring, nurturing enviornement.
