SHARP Dance Company

The mission of SHARP Dance Co. is to translate raw human emotion utilizing contemporary movement to connect the audience through individual interpretation. SHARP is a six year old 501C-3 modern company and its theory of 'meaning behind movement' is shown prominently throughout their work. SHARP feels that dance should be more than a performance, it should be an experience. SHARP's work has been selected for the: Phoenix Fringe Festival, Seacoast Fringe, Bedfringe (England), Cool NY Festival, STEPS Performance Lab, Fringe Wilmington 2009-2011, etc.  Artistic Director Diane Sharp-Nachsin was selected as a New Edge Mix Artist Award Recipient and was commissioned in 2008-2011 to set work on Mid-Atlantic Ballet.
